Before You Join Any Bingo Site

Every site below holds a UK Gambling Commission licence, which means GAMSTOP, age and ID checks and no credit cards. Four of the five have a regulatory action somewhere in the history of the operator or a related company, and we describe each one in its section so you can weigh it before you deposit.

Two habits are worth the five minutes. Verify your account (ID and address) the day you join, so a withdrawal request doesn’t stall on checks later. Then set a deposit limit at sign-up. We don’t repeat this under every site, so it applies to all of them.

If you’ve self-excluded, or you’re trying to cut back, these sites are not a way around that. Register with GAMSTOP, and talk to GamCare or the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133 if gambling has stopped feeling like a choice.

The Five Best Paddy Power Bingo Alternatives

First, what you’d be comparing against. Paddy Power Bingo’s welcome offer is 40 free spins (10p each, so £4 of spins) when you deposit by debit card, Apple Pay or Pay by Bank and stake £10 of cash on eligible bingo slots within 30 days of joining. Winnings from the spins are credited as cash, and the offer terms on promos.paddypower.com give no wagering figure for them. The spins are locked to the first eligible game you open and expire 30 days after they’re awarded. New players also get Paddy’s Free Bingo from 12pm to 6pm daily, and a Newbie Room for their first 10 days.

Sky Bingo: Best for a Bingo Bonus With Cash Winnings

Sky Bingo homepage
Sky Bingo homepage, October 2026

Licence and history. Sky Bingo is operated by Bonne Terre Gaming Limited, UKGC account 65519, which holds active bingo and casino licences; the register records no regulatory actions for that account. A different Sky company, Bonne Terre Limited (trading as Sky Betting and Gaming), was fined £1.17m on 9 March 2022 for sending a promotional offer to 41,395 customers who had self-excluded and 249,159 who had unsubscribed from marketing emails, and its licences were surrendered on 31 October 2025. The problem was marketing to self-excluded customers, so if you self-exclude, do it with GAMSTOP as well as with the site, and switch off marketing preferences when you register.

The offer. Deposit £10 within 30 days of registering and stake £10 on the eligible bingo games (Sky lists AOTG Bingo, Cash Cubes Bingo and Deal or No Deal 75 Ball). Sky then credits a £20 bingo bonus, paid in bingo tickets worth up to 10p each. The bonus can’t be withdrawn, you have 30 days to use it, and winnings from it are paid in cash with no wagering requirement. Anyone who already holds a Sky Vegas, Sky Bet, Sky Poker, Sky Bingo or Sky Casino account counts as an existing customer and isn’t eligible.

Withdrawals. Sky Bingo’s help centre says Pay by Bank appears in your bank immediately, Visa and participating Mastercard instant withdrawals should arrive within 1 to 4 hours, and standard card withdrawals take 2 to 5 working days. The minimum withdrawal on each of those routes is £5. Trustpilot (skybingo.com) shows 2.8 from 668 reviews.

Who it suits. Worth considering if you want a bingo-first welcome offer rather than slot spins, and you’re comfortable that the bonus only works in three rooms. Sky is in the same family group as Paddy Power, so the ownership is shared (more on that below).

tombola: Best for Low-Stakes Bingo

tombola homepage
tombola homepage, October 2026

Licence and history. tombola is operated by Tombola (International) Plc, UKGC account 38613, with active bingo, casino and virtual-event betting licences. The register records a financial penalty of £184,500 with a decision date of 21 July 2025, after an investigation into a key event submission found breaches of Social Responsibility Code Provisions on direct electronic consent (5.1.11) and self-exclusion (3.5.3, paragraphs 2 and 6). The Commission noted the failings were isolated, that tombola took immediate remedial action and that it co-operated. Because part of this was about self-exclusion, apply GAMSTOP as well as tombola’s own self-exclusion, and check afterwards that the site shows your account as closed.

What’s similar and different. tombola’s homepage says you’ll never spend more than £2 on bingo tickets, with slots and instant-win games from 5p. It runs two free games every day, Free for All and Super Spins, and has chat rooms. It lists its safer gambling tools as Spend Limits, Stake Limits, Time Keeper, Game Freeze, Cooling Off and Self-Exclusion.

Offer and terms. tombola matches your first deposit by 100% up to £50, with a £10 minimum, and adds one 10p Free Play per whole £1 deposited, up to 50. You must accept the bonus while making your first deposit. Its welcome-bonus help page states there are no wagering requirements on winnings. Free Plays are used first, then cash, then bonus funds; bonus funds themselves cannot be withdrawn and a withdrawal forfeits any remaining bonus. Free Plays expire after 7 days, so only take an offer you intend to use within that period.

Withdrawals. tombola’s help centre says you can’t withdraw if your withdrawable funds are below £10, and to allow up to 4 hours for fast withdrawals and 5 business days for standard ones, depending on the card or method and your bank. Trustpilot (tombola.co.uk) shows 3.5 from 12,936 reviews.

Who it suits. If you play for the community and small tickets more than for a big bonus. tombola is another member of the Paddy Power family group, and our sites like tombola page covers other options if you want to move on from it too.

Heart Bingo: Best for Bingo and Slots Under One Account

Heart Bingo homepage
Heart Bingo homepage, October 2026

Licence and history. Heart Bingo’s terms say the site is owned by BV Gaming Limited, UKGC account 39576, and the register lists heartbingo.co.uk as a white-label domain on that account, which also carries the BetVictor and Parimatch domains. On 24 February 2022 the Commission announced that BV Gaming Limited, trading as BetVictor, would pay £2m after an investigation found fairness, social responsibility and money laundering failures; its news release names heartbingo.co.uk among the sites the company runs. The register’s current actions list for the account shows none. If you want a limit that holds, set a deposit limit in your account settings straight after sign-up and confirm with support whether any self-exclusion you apply covers BV Gaming’s other sites.

The offers. You opt in, make your first deposit of at least £10 and play £10 in any bingo room to get a £50 bingo bonus. The specific BMO7 terms require 4x the £50 bonus value: £200 of bingo wagering, with a £200 maximum redeemable amount. Complete the £10 deposit and £10 bingo play within 7 days of registration; the bonus expires 7 days after crediting if unused or not wagered. The alternative welcome offer, a slots one, gives 100 free spins on Make Me a Millionaire, valued at £0.10 per spin, for making a first deposit of £10 or more and playing £10 on any slot within 7 days of registration. The spins expire 7 days after crediting if unused; once played through, their winnings go to your withdrawable cash balance. Heart’s terms say each customer can receive only one welcome offer across its bingo and casino offers, so you pick one.

Payments and reviews. Heart’s terms say it doesn’t charge for deposits or withdrawals, though your bank might. Trustpilot (heartbingo.co.uk) shows 2.8 from 1,502 reviews.

Who it suits. Worth considering if a bigger bingo bonus matters to you and you’re happy to read a 4x requirement and a 7-day expiry carefully. It is not run by the Paddy Power group.

Buzz Bingo: Best for Online Bingo With a Club Link

Buzz Bingo homepage
Buzz Bingo homepage, October 2026

Licence and history. The site’s footer says Buzz Bingo Digital Limited operates buzzbingo.com, with UKGC account 57594; the register shows active bingo and casino licences for it and no recorded actions. The welcome offer terms, however, name Buzz Group Limited as promoter, and on 16 December 2021 the Commission announced a £780,000 fine and a formal warning for Buzz Group Ltd, which it said operates buzzbingo.com, over social responsibility and money laundering failures between October 2019 and December 2020. The Commission’s examples included a customer who deposited £22,400 in five days without a meaningful interaction. Since that case was about spotting heavy play early, set a deposit limit before your first game.

The offer. Buzz says to deposit at least £10 and spend £10 on online bingo ticket games within 14 days of registering. You then get a £40 bingo welcome offer made up of a £30 online bingo bonus and a £10 voucher for Main Event session tickets in a Buzz club (valid for 6 months). The £30 online bonus carries 4x wagering: Buzz’s terms say you must spend £120 on bingo tickets before winnings from it can be withdrawn as cash, and the bonus must be played through within 30 days or it and any pending winnings are removed. Minimum withdrawal is £5.

Small print. Only deposits by debit card, PayPal or Apple Pay count; prepaid cards and Paysafecard don’t. You can take the £40 bingo offer or the £20 slots offer, not both, and a cash stake on a qualifying slot first makes you ineligible for the bingo offer. Trustpilot (buzzbingo.com) shows 3.9 from 2,972 reviews, the highest of the five.

Who it suits. Worth considering if you already visit a Buzz club or might, since the voucher is only useful there. If you never will, treat the bonus as £30, not £40.

Sun Bingo: Best for Choosing Between Bingo Credit and No-Wagering Spins

Sun Bingo homepage
Sun Bingo homepage, October 2026

Licence and history. Sun Bingo is operated by Red Rock Managed Services Limited, UKGC account 67754. Its bingo and casino licences are active from 2 October 2025, the register lists sunbingo.co.uk as a white-label domain, and no regulatory actions are recorded. That licence is new, so there is little record to judge. The terms say the site runs under a brand licence from News Group Newspapers Limited, which isn’t responsible for the gambling.

The offer. Register and deposit £10, then pick one route. Stake £10 on slots for 50 free spins at 10p each, with no wagering on winnings, which you must accept within 48 hours and use within 3 days. Or stake £10 on bingo tickets for a £40 bingo bonus, which must be accepted and wagered 4x within 7 days or it is forfeited; Sun’s own example is £40 x 4 = £160. Only debit card deposits qualify (Neteller, Skrill and PayPal don’t), and the offers are listed as ending on 31 January 2027.

Withdrawals and reviews. Sun’s help centre says its side of a withdrawal is completed within 24 hours, then up to 3 working days at the card issuer, up to 24 hours on PayPal’s side or up to 10 working days by BACS. Its terms list a £5 minimum single deposit and a £5 minimum single withdrawal. Trustpilot (sunbingo.co.uk) shows 1.9 from 867 reviews, the lowest of the five. That is a reason to test with a small withdrawal early, before you build up a balance.

Who it suits. Worth considering if you want the choice of a no-wagering spins offer, but the review score means we’d rank it behind the others for anyone who values withdrawal reliability over bonus choice.

How These Bingo Sites Compare With Paddy Power Bingo

Bonuses and wagering

Wagering at UK-licensed operators is capped at 10x since 19 January 2026. Heart, Buzz and Sun’s bingo bonuses require 4x wagering; Sky’s ticket-bonus winnings and tombola’s welcome-bonus winnings have no wagering requirement. Here’s what each site says about its own offer.

Site Welcome offer (as the site states it) Wagering
Paddy Power Bingo 40 free spins for staking £10 on eligible bingo slots No figure in the offer terms; winnings paid as cash; spins expire after 30 days
Sky Bingo £20 bingo bonus (tickets up to 10p) for £10 deposit and £10 staked None on winnings; 30 days to use
tombola 100% first-deposit match up to £50 plus up to 50 Free Plays at 10p each; £10 minimum; accept the bonus when depositing No wagering on winnings; remaining bonus forfeited on withdrawal; Free Plays expire in 7 days
Heart Bingo £50 bingo bonus for £10 deposit and play x4, max redeemable £200; 7-day expiry
Buzz Bingo £40 (£30 online bonus plus £10 Club voucher) 4x on the £30 online bonus; 30 days
Sun Bingo £40 bingo bonus or 50 free spins 4x on the bonus within 7 days; none on spin winnings

A worked example in pounds: Buzz’s terms say its £30 online bonus means spending £120 on bingo tickets before winnings from the bonus can be withdrawn, and Sun’s say £40 x 4 = £160. Sky states no wagering on winnings from its bonus, and Paddy Power Bingo’s spin winnings are credited as cash with no wagering figure in its terms, but both offers are worth less on paper: £4 of spins at Paddy Power, and a £20 ticket bonus at Sky. A smaller offer without wagering can be worth more to you than a bigger one with 4x attached, because you can withdraw what you win. Heart’s specific terms give a further example: 4 x £50 = £200 of bingo wagering, with a £200 redeemable cap and a 7-day bonus expiry. Don’t increase your spending just to finish a bonus.

Games and rooms

Paddy Power Bingo’s navigation lists Bingo, Slots, Slingo, Jackpots and Live Bingo, with daily free bingo. Sky Bingo has Bingo, Arcade, Bingo Lobby, Slingo and Instant Win tabs. tombola pairs bingo with slots and instant-win games, and Heart and Sun both list Bingo, Slots, Live Casino and Slingo in their menus. Buzz splits Bingo, Casino and Clubs into three tabs. Check a lobby for the specific games you play before you sign up.

Payments and withdrawal times

  • Paddy Power Bingo: Paddy Power’s general help centre article on withdrawals says Pay by Bank arrives in your bank immediately, eligible Visa and Mastercard withdrawals should take 1 to 4 hours, and standard card withdrawals 2 to 5 working days.
  • Sky Bingo: the same three timings, with a £5 minimum withdrawal on each route.
  • tombola: up to 4 hours for fast withdrawals and 5 business days for standard ones; £10 minimum withdrawal.
  • Sun Bingo: 24 hours on Sun’s side, then bank or provider time; £5 minimum.
  • Buzz Bingo: £5 minimum withdrawal; qualifying welcome deposits by debit card, PayPal or Apple Pay.
  • Heart Bingo: no fees from Heart for deposits or withdrawals, per its terms.

All times are the operators’ own statements, not our tests.

Paddy Power Bingo Sister Sites and Shared Ownership

Paddy Power’s footer lists four companies licensed in Great Britain: PPB Counterparty Services Limited (account 39439), PPB Entertainment Limited (39426), PPB Games Limited (39411) and PPB GE Limited (52819). On the register, both PPB Entertainment and PPB GE hold bingo and casino licences, PPB Games holds casino and pool betting, and PPB Counterparty holds betting licences. We name none of them as the bingo operator, because the footer lists all four together.

The Gambling Commission’s actions page for account 39426 records a settlement dated 17 December 2025 covering four licensees trading as Betfair and Paddy Power, including PPB Entertainment: a payment in lieu of a financial penalty totalling £2,000,000, a public statement and Commission costs, after a licence review found failings in social responsibility controls “relating to remote customer interaction”. The register shows no actions recorded for PPB Games (39411) and PPB GE (52819). If you stay with Paddy Power Bingo rather than move, use its safer gambling tools from day one.

On sister sites, Paddy Power’s own help centre says its “family group” is Paddy Power Online, Betfair, PokerStars, tombola and Sky Betting & Gaming (including Sky Bingo). It says it takes reasonable steps to block self-excluded customers across those brands, and recommends you self-exclude with each brand you hold an account with, so don’t assume one request reaches them all. Flutter’s website lists Paddy Power, Sky Bet and tombola among its brands, and iGaming Business reported that Flutter completed its £402m acquisition of tombola. So two of our five picks, Sky Bingo and tombola, are Paddy Power Bingo sister sites in that sense; Heart Bingo, Buzz Bingo and Sun Bingo are run by other companies.

On our other bingo pages, see sites like Foxy Bingo and sites like Glossy Bingo.

How We Selected These Alternatives

We started with bingo-led sites that have a similar mix of rooms, free games and slots. We checked each operator’s UK licence and regulatory actions on the Gambling Commission register, read the Commission’s news pages for older cases, read the sites’ offer pages, promotion rules and relevant help pages, and noted Trustpilot scores with the exact profile we read. We didn’t deposit, play or withdraw, so every withdrawal time here is the operator’s own claim.

We left out Gala Bingo and Foxy Bingo, which share an operator, LC International Limited, and so share its penalty history. The Commission announced on 17 August 2022 that Entain would pay £14m for failures at LC International, and Gala Bingo’s Trustpilot profile (galabingo.com) currently shows 1.3 from 1,535 reviews. We also left out Jackpotjoy, whose operator Gamesys Operations Limited had a total financial penalty of £6,071,292 recorded on 22 November 2023, and whose Trustpilot profile (jackpotjoy.com) shows 1.4 from 2,086 reviews. We didn’t exclude any site just for a past penalty: Sky, tombola, Heart and Buzz all have one somewhere in their history and are included. Gala (with Foxy, its operator’s other bingo site) and Jackpotjoy were left out because a large penalty and a low review score pointed the same way for the site we scored.

Which Paddy Power Bingo Alternative Suits You?

  • You want a bingo offer with no wagering on winnings: Sky Bingo, with the three-room limit in mind.
  • You want small tickets and a chatty community: tombola.
  • You want the biggest bingo bonus and will read the 4x terms: Heart Bingo.
  • You also go to Buzz clubs: Buzz Bingo.
  • You want a choice between bingo credit and no-wagering spins, and will test a small withdrawal first: Sun Bingo.

If none of these feels right, staying put is a fair outcome. A site that suits you is one where you can keep to your limits.

Frequently asked questions

Sky Bingo and tombola are the closest in style, and both are in the same family group as Paddy Power according to Paddy Power’s help centre. Sky Bingo has a bingo-first welcome offer with no wagering on winnings, and tombola is built around low-priced tickets and free daily games.
