Sites Like LeoVegas: UK Alternatives Compared

Looking for sites like LeoVegas? These are five UK-licensed alternatives, checked against the Gambling Commission register and each site’s own offer pages. One, BetMGM, is run by the same company as LeoVegas; the other four are run by different companies. We cover what each does differently, what its welcome offer asks of you, and where its regulatory record needs a careful read.

Before You Join Any of Them

Two habits apply to every site in this guide, so we say them once. Upload your ID and proof of address on the day you register: both LeoVegas and BetMGM say on their help pages that verification can affect how long a withdrawal takes. And set a deposit limit at sign-up, at a figure you could lose without it touching rent or bills.

One protection is specific to this page. LeoVegas says a self-exclusion with it covers every site run by LeoVegas Gaming PLC, which includes BetMGM below. The other four alternatives are run by different companies, so a self-exclusion at LeoVegas does not cover them, and GAMSTOP is what covers every UK-licensed site. If you have self-excluded, or you are trying to cut back, none of these sites is a way around that. Support is available from GamCare and the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133, and you can register with GAMSTOP at any time.

LeoVegas in Brief: What You Are Comparing Against

LeoVegas Gaming PLC holds UKGC account 39198 (licence 039198-R-319450-029), with casino and bingo licences showing as active on the Gambling Commission register and leovegas.co.uk listed as an active domain. The site began in Sweden and describes itself as “mobile first”; its menu runs across Casino, Live Casino, Sports, Bingo and its own LeoJackpot.

The Commission has penalised the company twice, and the register’s actions page for the account says “none recorded”, which is why we also read the Commission’s news pages. On 2 May 2018 it announced a £600,000 penalty for 41 misleading adverts and for how LeoVegas handled customers at the end of self-exclusion: it had failed to return funds to 11,205 customers who self-excluded and closed their accounts, and sent marketing to 1,894 people who had self-excluded. On 3 August 2022 it announced a £1.32 million penalty for social responsibility and anti-money laundering failures, with an official warning and an audit. Neither case rules LeoVegas out for us. If you join, set deposit limits straight away and use the self-exclusion tool if you ever need it, rather than relying on the operator to catch the problem.

The casino welcome offer is 50 free spins on Big Bass Splash. You deposit £10 or more within 7 days of registering, wager that deposit once on eligible casino games within 7 days, and the spins are credited at 10p each, valid for 3 days, with winnings withdrawable. Slots, instant-win games and Slingo count towards the wagering; table games and live casino do not. LeoVegas’s help centre says approved withdrawals typically arrive within 1-3 business days, its payments page says it can take up to five business days depending on the method, and withdrawals go back to the method you deposited with. The same offer page also describes a separate live casino offer with 40x wagering, so choose the offer deliberately when you register.

Why do players look elsewhere? On Trustpilot, leovegas.co.uk scores 3.6 from 400 reviews, but the ratings are split: 46% five-star and 39% one-star. The recent reviews we read praised quick payouts and support, while critics mentioned promotions with wagering attached, the £10 minimum deposit and free spins that would not load. That split is a reason to compare, not a verdict.

LeoVegas Alternatives at a Glance

Here is how the five alternatives line up. Offer terms, review scores and regulatory history follow in each profile and in the comparison section, because a headline offer tells you little without its conditions.

Site Why it resembles LeoVegas Main difference Ownership relationship
BetMGM Same operator and platform, with casino, live casino and sports 200 free spins instead of 50 for the same £10 deposit and 1x wager Sister site: LeoVegas Gaming PLC, UKGC account 39198
PlayOJO Slots-led lobby with live casino and bingo, and a free-spins welcome offer No wagering on anything it pays out from the spins; cash back on every bet Different company: Skill On Net Limited, UKGC account 39326
Videoslots Very large slots lobby with live casino, sports and bingo tabs 100% match up to £50 on UK terms, plus 11 wager-free spins; Battle of Slots tournaments Different company: Videoslots Limited, UKGC account 39380
Unibet Casino, live casino, bingo, poker and sports on one site 300 free spins for staking £30 on slots, with 10x wagering on the winnings Different company: Platinum Gaming Limited, UKGC account 45322
Casumo Also launched in Sweden in 2012; casino, live casino and sports 50% deposit match up to £100 with a £20 minimum deposit; its own live studio Different company: Recro Limited, UKGC account 61549

BetMGM: Best If You Want the Same Company and Platform

BetMGM homepage
BetMGM homepage, October 2026

BetMGM UK is run by LeoVegas Gaming PLC (UKGC account 39198), the same licence holder as LeoVegas, so it is a sister site rather than a different company. LeoVegas Group’s own brands page says BetMGM “leverages the technology and platform of LeoVegas”, and the group’s history page dates the UK launch to 2023. For you that means two things. LeoVegas’s self-exclusion and group-wide deposit limits cover it, but the regulatory history described above sits on the same licence, so it is not a fresh start.

The casino welcome offer follows the LeoVegas pattern with more spins. Deposit £10 or more and wager 1x on casino games within 7 days of registering, and you get 200 free spins on Big Bass Splash, worth 10p each, valid for 3 days, with no wagering on winnings. BetMGM’s help centre says approved withdrawals typically arrive in 1-3 business days, and that verification can add time.

Trustpilot shows 3.7 from 6,448 reviews for betmgm.co.uk. The first reviews we read included one complaint about document verification and one about slow bank withdrawals, alongside a review that said withdrawals reached the account the same day. If you pick BetMGM, verify before you deposit. It suits you if you like LeoVegas’s product and simply want more spins from the same kind of offer, but a problem with one brand’s verification is likely to look the same at the other.

PlayOJO: Best for Spins With No Wagering at All

PlayOJO homepage
PlayOJO homepage, October 2026

PlayOJO is run by Skill On Net Limited (UKGC account 39326), which the Commission said in 2023 runs 50 websites. On 23 May 2023 the Commission announced that Skill On Net would pay £305,150 in a settlement after social responsibility and anti-money laundering failures, with all of it going to socially responsible causes. The register’s actions page for the account shows nothing, so the news page is the record. The practical step is to set a deposit limit at sign-up, and to remember that PlayOJO’s reviews are the weakest of the profiles here apart from Casumo: Trustpilot shows 2.3 from 15,504 reviews for playojo.com. The first page we read mixed praise with complaints about withdrawal times and about game fairness; those are reviewers’ claims, not findings.

The welcome offer is 50 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza after a first deposit of £10 or more, with, in PlayOJO’s words, no wagering requirements, and anything won from the spins paid in cash. It also runs OJOplus, which it describes as money back on every bet, win or lose. That is the clearest difference from LeoVegas, where you must wager your £10 deposit once before the spins are released. PlayOJO’s reward policy still says you must have deposited and risked your own money to withdraw anything related to the spins, or the spins are forfeited, and its OJOplus money back ranges from 0.06% to 3% depending on the game.

Payment options in PlayOJO’s own withdrawal guide are Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay and instant bank payment, and the guide says some, such as Mastercard and Apple Pay, can only be used to withdraw if you deposited with them. Its banking page shows a £10 minimum deposit. On its homepage PlayOJO says 95% of withdrawals are processed within minutes; that is the operator’s claim, and verification still comes first. The lobby is described as more than 8,000 games, with slots, bingo, live casino and jackpots. PlayOJO suits you if wagering terms are your main complaint about LeoVegas, provided you are comfortable with the review record.

Videoslots: Best for Sheer Slots Choice and Tournaments

Videoslots homepage
Videoslots homepage, October 2026

Videoslots is run by Videoslots Limited (UKGC account 39380), which the Commission says also runs mrvegas.com and megariches.com; if you want that company’s other sites, see our sites like Mr Vegas guide. The Commission announced a £650,000 fine on 20 November 2025, plus a warning and a third-party audit, for anti-money laundering and social responsibility failures. One finding matters to you directly: the monthly deposit limit the operator set automatically ran across a calendar month and did not include the customer’s first deposit, so some customers lost more than their limit. Set your own limit, and check how it counts deposits.

On UK terms the welcome bonus is a 100% match up to £50 on a first deposit of £10 or more. To receive the full £50 you wager 10 times your first deposit within 60 calendar days of activating the bonus, and it is paid out in 10% increments. While you wager, a single bet above 50% of the bonus amount or £20, whichever is lower, forfeits the bonus. A second part is 11 free spins on Starburst, where winnings are wager-free; you must deposit within 24 hours of registering to be eligible. Videoslots describes itself on Trustpilot as having over 11,000 games, and its menu shows casino, live casino, jackpots, sports, arcade and bingo tabs, plus tournaments called Battle of Slots.

Trustpilot shows 4.0 from 2,466 reviews for videoslots.com, the best of the five. One of the newest reviews we read described an account deactivated soon after a first deposit, so keep your documents ready. Videoslots suits you if choice and tournaments matter more than a bigger bonus; check the withdrawal terms and limits in the cashier before you deposit.

Unibet: Best for Casino and Sport on One Site, With a Careful Read of the Record

Unibet homepage
Unibet homepage, October 2026

Unibet’s regulatory record is the one to read first. Its UK terms name Platinum Gaming Limited as the operator, with Unibet, 32Red and Bingo.com as trading names, under UKGC account 45322. The Commission announced a £7.1 million penalty on 23 March 2023, of which Platinum Gaming’s share was £2,937,599 (32Red Limited paid £4,195,655), and a £10 million penalty on 22 October 2025. The 2023 findings included self-excluded or blocked customers being able to register at Platinum Gaming after being excluded on the 32Red platform. The 2025 findings included not identifying a player who lost £5,000 within 24 hours of registering. Both came with warnings. Practically: register with GAMSTOP rather than relying on one operator’s self-exclusion, set a loss or deposit limit on day one, and check it works.

The casino welcome offer is 300 free spins on Big Bass Splash, worth 10p each. You deposit £30 or more by debit card or instant bank transfer, stake £30 on slots within 7 days of registering, and use the spins within 48 hours. Winnings from the spins carry 10x wagering to be completed within 30 days, and withdrawing before you finish forfeits the bonus funds. While you use bonus funds, bets above £15 per spin on slots, or above 30% of the initial bonus amount in a game round, are not allowed. Deposits by credit card, Apple Pay, PayPal, Paysafe Card, Skrill or Neteller do not qualify. That makes the offer minimum £30 against LeoVegas’s £10.

Unibet’s terms set the standard minimum withdrawal at £5, with no charge from Unibet for withdrawals to online payment services or UK debit cards, and say credit cards cannot be used to deposit. Trustpilot shows 3.3 from 2,747 reviews for unibet.co.uk, with recent reviews split between long-time customers and complaints about frozen accounts. Unibet suits you if you want casino, bingo, poker and sport in one account, and are willing to take the extra care its record calls for.

Casumo: Best for a Live Casino Focus, If You Accept the Reviews

Casumo homepage
Casumo homepage, October 2026

Casumo has the lowest Trustpilot score of the five: 1.7 from 2,546 reviews for casumo.com. The newest reviews we read were about withdrawals paused for document checks, with one customer waiting several days after verification, and some accounts described as frozen. Those are reviewers’ accounts, not findings, but the step is clear: send your documents on the day you join, and withdraw more than £10, because Casumo’s withdrawal policy charges £3 on withdrawals below £10.

Its history needs care too. On 25 March 2021 the Commission announced a £6 million fine and an audit for social responsibility and anti-money laundering failures at Casumo, which it said runs casumo.com. Today the site is run by Recro Limited (Malta company C77858; UKGC account 61549). On the register, casumo.com is listed as inactive under Casumo Services Limited (account 39265), whose licences were surrendered on 3 November 2023. The register does not say how the two companies are connected, so check the Commission’s pages if the 2021 record matters to you. Casumo’s own footer and terms give Recro Limited as the operator.

The welcome offer is a 50% deposit match up to £100 on a first deposit of £20 or more, with 10x wagering on the bonus amount and a 7-day expiry. If you withdraw before finishing the wagering, the bonus and its winnings are forfeited, and a maximum bet of €5 (or local equivalent) per spin applies while you wager. Casumo’s withdrawal policy says a request should be approved or denied within three days, usually back to the deposit method, after any verification it requires.

Like LeoVegas, Casumo says it launched in Sweden in 2012. Its live casino page lists games from Evolution, Pragmatic Play, Playtech, Creed Roomz and its own Casumo Live Studio, and it runs a daily Spinumo prize wheel for customers who have deposited in the last 7 days. It suits you if live dealer games and a lighter style appeal and you accept the review record, but we would not pick it first on that record.

How These Alternatives Compare With LeoVegas

Bonuses and wagering

The welcome offers work in different ways, and the minimum deposit and the amount an offer needs are not always the same: Unibet’s offer needs £30 deposited and £30 staked, while the others ask for £10 or £20 deposited. All are casino offers read on each site’s own page, and the Trustpilot column gives the score and review count for the domain shown.

Site Welcome offer (as stated) Wagering Minimum for the offer Trustpilot
LeoVegas 50 free spins on Big Bass Splash Wager the £10 deposit once; spin winnings withdrawable £10 deposit leovegas.co.uk: 3.6 from 400
BetMGM 200 free spins on Big Bass Splash Wager the £10 deposit once; no wagering on winnings £10 deposit betmgm.co.uk: 3.7 from 6,448
PlayOJO 50 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza None: its page says no wagering requirements £10 deposit playojo.com: 2.3 from 15,504
Videoslots 100% match up to £50, plus 11 wager-free spins on Starburst 10x the first deposit within 60 days; spins wager-free £10 deposit videoslots.com: 4.0 from 2,466
Unibet 300 free spins on Big Bass Splash 10x on spin winnings £30 deposit and £30 staked on slots unibet.co.uk: 3.3 from 2,747
Casumo 50% match up to £100 10x on the bonus amount £20 deposit casumo.com: 1.7 from 2,546

A worked example in pounds. At LeoVegas you deposit £10, bet £10 on eligible slots, and receive 50 spins at 10p, a spin value of £5. At BetMGM the same £10 and 1x wager gives 200 spins, a spin value of £20. At Videoslots a £50 first deposit can earn the full £50 bonus if you bet £500 within 60 days; it is paid out in 10% increments as you wager, any bonus left is forfeited if you withdraw early, and no single bet above £20 is allowed meanwhile. At Unibet the 300 spins are worth £30, but if they win £20, you must bet £200 on slots before that £20 is withdrawable. At Casumo a £200 deposit gets the £100 maximum bonus. The offer page says 10x on the bonus amount, which would be £1,000 of bets, but Casumo’s general bonus terms say 10x the bonus and any connected deposit unless the promotion says otherwise, so confirm which applies when you opt in. The multiples above are for the casino welcome offers in the table; other promotions on the same sites can differ.

Games and providers

LeoVegas’s lobby lists Blueprint, Pragmatic Play, Games Global, Inspired Gaming and Push Gaming among its top providers, and its pages add live casino, bingo, Slingo and the LeoJackpot network. BetMGM runs on the same platform, so expect a similar structure. PlayOJO describes a lobby of more than 8,000 games and Videoslots describes itself as having more than 11,000, both operator claims. Casumo’s live casino lists games from Evolution, Pragmatic Play, Playtech and Creed Roomz as well as its own studio. Unibet’s menu adds poker and a sportsbook to casino and bingo.

Payments and withdrawal times

LeoVegas accepts debit cards, PayPal, Open Banking and Apple Pay, with a £10 minimum deposit for the first three and £5 for Apple Pay. Withdrawal limits depend on the method: its payments page gives up to £5,000 by debit card, up to £35,000 by Open Banking and up to £8,000 by Apple Pay. LeoVegas and BetMGM both say approved withdrawals typically take 1-3 business days, although LeoVegas’s payments page also says up to five business days depending on the method. PlayOJO says 95% of withdrawals are processed within minutes. Casumo says approval or refusal within three days. For Unibet and Videoslots, check the withdrawal terms in the cashier. Whatever a site says, the first withdrawal is when verification bites, so treat the claims as the operators’ own.

LeoVegas Sister Sites and Shared Ownership

LeoVegas is run by LeoVegas Gaming PLC (UKGC account 39198, head office in Sliema, Malta). The group’s own history page says LeoVegas Group became part of MGM Resorts International in 2022, following the offer MGM announced on 2 May 2022. The register lists six active domains on this licence: 21.co.uk, betmgm.co.uk, betuk.com, leovegas.co.uk, pinkcasino.co.uk and slotboss.co.uk. LeoVegas’s safer gambling page names the same six brands (BetMGM, BetUK, LeoVegas, Pink Casino, 21.co.uk and Slotboss) as the sites covered by its group-wide self-exclusion and cumulative deposit limits. A time-out is different: you must set it on each site. Our guide to sites like Pink Casino covers one of these sister brands.

Of the alternatives here, only BetMGM is a LeoVegas sister site. PlayOJO is run by Skill On Net Limited, Videoslots by Videoslots Limited, Unibet by Platinum Gaming Limited and Casumo by Recro Limited, each on its own licence. The ownership shown here is at licence-holder level.

How We Selected These Alternatives

We started with the Gambling Commission register: each pick holds a UK licence for casino games, and we checked the register entry and the Commission’s news pages for regulatory actions. We then looked for sites with a similar product, meaning slots, live casino and a free-spins welcome offer, and for different strengths in each. We read each site’s own welcome-offer page, and its help, withdrawal or terms pages where they loaded, plus its Trustpilot profile. We did not deposit, play or withdraw. Where a page would not load, we left the detail out rather than guess. We also kept sites with regulatory actions in, with the details, because the actions say more about what to check than about whether to ignore them.

Which LeoVegas Alternative Suits You?

  • You want the closest match: BetMGM, which runs on the same platform with the same £10 and 1x structure, but is the same company.
  • You want no wagering on the spins: PlayOJO, if you accept its review record and 2023 settlement.
  • You want choice and tournaments: Videoslots, which has the best Trustpilot score of the five, with the 2025 fine in mind.
  • You want sport, poker and bingo beside the casino: Unibet, with a GAMSTOP registration and a limit set first.
  • You want a live casino focus: Casumo, with your documents ready and its low Trustpilot score in mind.

Frequently asked questions

BetMGM. It is run by LeoVegas Gaming PLC (UKGC account 39198) on the LeoVegas platform, and its casino offer uses the same £10 deposit and 1x wager, with 200 free spins on Big Bass Splash instead of 50. It is a sister site, so it is the same company, not a different one.
