Sites Like Betfair: UK Alternatives Compared

Looking for sites like Betfair for casino games rather than its betting exchange? We compare five UK-licensed alternatives, their welcome terms and payment conditions. Paddy Power and Sky Vegas share Betfair’s Flutter parent; BetVictor, William Hill and PlayOJO use different operators. The useful choice depends on why you’re leaving, not which headline promises the most spins.

Before choosing another casino

If you’re looking for sites like Betfair because you’ve self-excluded or want to reduce your losses, don’t open another gambling account. Paddy Power and Sky Vegas belong to the same wider group as Betfair, and all five alternatives participate in GAMSTOP. A change of brand isn’t a way around a self-exclusion.

For anyone otherwise considering a move, complete the identity checks and set a deposit limit before funding a new account. Compare the withdrawal method you actually use, not just a site’s quickest advertised option. Keep copies of the promotion you accept and any payment correspondence.

Betfair alternatives at a glance

Site Why it resembles Betfair Main difference Ownership relationship
Paddy Power Games Slots and live casino alongside sports betting A welcome split between slots and a game show Same Flutter parent group
Sky Vegas Familiar slots including Fishin’ Frenzy and Jackpot King titles Its selected welcome explicitly removes wagering on spin winnings Same Flutter parent group; different licence holder
BetVictor Casino and live games alongside a sportsbook Three separate game-type bonus pots, not one slots balance BV Gaming; different company from Betfair
William Hill Vegas Slots, live casino and a sportsbook under one brand A tightly restricted no-deposit option WHG (International), part of evoke; different group
PlayOJO Slots and live casino No wagering on the selected welcome-spin winnings, but a deposit-and-play policy Skill On Net; different operator from Betfair

These are five different choices, not five reasons to register. The most useful distinction is whether you want familiar games, a different operator or less bonus turnover. Offers and review figures below were checked on 9 October 2026.

Five sites like Betfair, compared

Paddy Power Games — Best for a familiar sportsbook-and-casino combination

Paddy Power Games homepage
Paddy Power Games homepage, October 2026

Paddy Power is a close product match, but not a clean break from Betfair’s ownership. Both are Flutter brands. Its UK footer lists several PPB companies; the Commission’s register includes casino permissions for PPB Entertainment Limited, account 39426, and PPB Games Limited, account 39411. Betfair’s self-exclusion terms include Paddy Power, so check the scope of any restriction before considering either.

The shared regulatory history matters too. On 17 December 2025, the Commission recorded a £2 million settlement across four Paddy Power Betfair licensees for social-responsibility failures, including weaknesses in customer interactions. That is a group settlement, not £2 million against each brand. Don’t rely on an operator to decide an affordable spending level for you; choose your own limit first.

The PGCTV1 welcome gives new UK customers 50 slot spins at 10p each, plus ten spins on Paddy’s Mansion Heist, supplied as a £1 bonus. Register with the code, claim the slot spins, then opt in to the game-show reward through the promotional hub. The terms say spin winnings have no wagering requirement and winnings from that £1 game-show bonus are yours to keep. Both rewards expire after seven days.

There is a separate deposit-and-bet step: opt in, deposit at least £10 in one transaction and wager £10 to receive another 100 slot spins. Qualifying deposits must use a debit card, Pay by Bank or Apple Pay. Only the base stake counts towards qualification, not the Big Drop jackpot add-on; disable that add-on if you do not want to pay extra that does not qualify. The initial 50 spins are locked to the first eligible slot you choose. When the reward ends, gameplay switches to real cash, so stop before the next paid spin if you only intended to use the reward.

For withdrawals, Paddy Power’s help page gives eligible instant card payments one to four hours, while standard card withdrawals take two to five working days. The welcome’s permitted deposit methods are a separate question from the withdrawal route available in the cashier. Choose the deposit route for both the offer and the eventual withdrawal, rather than discovering the difference afterwards.

Trustpilot’s www.paddypower.com profile showed 3.7/5 from 8,280 reviews. It mixes praise for support with complaints about closed accounts and delayed access to balances; those are customer reports, not established findings about every withdrawal. If a payment is delayed, retain the request reference and ask for the outstanding check in writing. Paddy Power is worth considering for the familiar combination of sports and casino, but not if your aim is to leave the Flutter group.

Sky Vegas — Best for familiar slots with explicit spin-winnings terms

Sky Vegas homepage
Sky Vegas homepage, October 2026

Sky Vegas is also in the Flutter family, although its current UK operator is Bonne Terre Gaming Limited, UKGC account 65519. An existing Sky Bet, Sky Bingo, Sky Poker, Sky Casino or Sky Vegas account makes you an existing Sky Betting & Gaming customer for this welcome. Check that before registering just for the offer.

The historical action was against the previous operator, Bonne Terre Limited. The Commission imposed a £1 million penalty package in March 2018 over self-exclusion failures and a £1.17 million penalty in March 2022 over marketing to self-excluded customers. Those are not penalties issued against the new licence holder. If marketing continues during a self-exclusion, keep the messages and report it rather than accepting an offer.

The selected welcome gives 50 spins without a deposit, followed by another 200 after you opt in, deposit and spend £10 on slots or instant-win games. The registration and qualification window is 30 days; deposits made before opting in don’t count for the deposit stage. Spins are normally credited on qualification, but the terms allow up to 72 hours. Only the base stake counts, not the Big Drop jackpot add-on; disable that add-on if you do not want to pay extra that does not qualify. Sky’s deposit guidance says promotional deposits must use a debit card or Apple Pay; confirm the eligible route before funding the offer.

At the standard 10p value, all spins go onto the first eligible game loaded. Examples include Fishin’ Frenzy, Eye of Horus and The Goonies Jackpot King. You have seven days after crediting to use them. Crucially, the dedicated terms explicitly say there are no wagering requirements on winnings from either set of spins. That does not remove the need to risk £10 of your own money for the second set.

The welcome requires £10 even though ordinary funding conditions depend on the payment method; Sky’s deposit guidance says Pay by Bank has no minimum. Its withdrawal page gives a £5 minimum for card withdrawals, one to four hours for eligible instant cards and two to five working days for standard cards. These are the operator’s stated ranges, not withdrawal tests by us.

Trustpilot’s skyvegas.com profile showed 2.7/5 from 3,905 reviews, with both positive payout reports and complaints about restrictions and support. If an account restriction affects a withdrawal, ask which check remains outstanding and avoid adding another deposit while it is unresolved. Sky Vegas is a reasonable Betfair alternative for those specific slots and clearer spin-winnings terms, but it is another Flutter relationship, not a change of parent company.

BetVictor — Best for players who actually use table games and live casino

BetVictor homepage
BetVictor homepage, October 2026

BetVictor is operated by BV Gaming Limited, UKGC account 39576, rather than a Betfair company. The Commission announced a £2 million regulatory settlement on 24 February 2022 for fairness, social-responsibility and anti-money-laundering failings. Keep the initial payment small until your checks are complete; a licence establishes oversight, not a promise that every transaction will be frictionless.

The BGH5 offer is not £30 of slots money. New UK customers opt in, make a first deposit of at least £10 and wager £10 cash on qualifying casino or live games within seven days of opening the account. Aviator, online bingo, virtual games and all versions of baccarat are excluded. Claim the bonuses through the Offers tab and accept the free-spin prompt as part of that seven-day process.

The reward is three £10 balances: a casino bonus excluding slots and live casino; a live-casino bonus excluding game shows; and a game-show bonus. Each has 10x bonus wagering and a £100 redemption cap. That means £100 of qualifying turnover for each £10 pot, not a single flexible £30 balance. Bonuses and spins expire 30 days after being awarded.

You also get 50 spins on Big Bass Blast at 10p each. Their winnings go to the real-cash withdrawable balance, and the promotion explicitly states no wagering on the spins. Only one welcome can be taken across BetVictor’s casino and sports offers, once per household. If you’ve already taken the sports welcome, don’t budget for this one.

BetVictor’s UK deposit guide lists debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Its debit-card table gives a £5 minimum for both deposits and withdrawals; the welcome still needs £10. The card help page says withdrawal requests are usually reviewed within 24 hours, then take one to three working days after approval to reach the bank. Checks can extend the review stage, so don’t treat that bank-arrival range as the full time from clicking withdraw.

Trustpilot’s betvictor.com profile showed 3.0/5 from 5,409 reviews, including positive payment reports and complaints about account balances and customer service. Keep screenshots of each bonus balance if you take the offer: the separate pots are exactly where a headline comparison can mislead. BetVictor suits a reader who wants both sportsbook and casino with a different operator, and who will use the table and live-game rewards. It is a weaker fit for someone who only plays slots.

William Hill Vegas — Best for a no-deposit option with a firm cash-out ceiling

William Hill Vegas homepage
William Hill Vegas homepage, October 2026

William Hill is a different group from Betfair. Its UK operator is WHG (International) Limited, UKGC account 39225, part of evoke. The safety record deserves attention before the offer: the Commission announced a £19.2 million penalty across three William Hill businesses in March 2023, including £12.5 million for WHG (International). The register also records a £82,687 financial penalty, decided on 7 August 2025, for failures to identify customers holding accounts across group companies. Treat account checks seriously and don’t split spending between group accounts to avoid a limit.

The williamhill.com Trustpilot profile showed 1.2/5 from 7,429 reviews. It covers the wider brand, including shops and sports betting, not just Vegas. Complaints include slow withdrawals and verification restrictions. That makes William Hill a conditional choice, not our first suggestion for someone leaving Betfair over payment or support problems. Obtain a clear explanation of any withdrawal restriction before depositing again.

For the selected V26 offer, register a new sterling UK account with V26 entered during registration, pass the checks and opt in. It supplies a £20 no-deposit bonus for Vault Cracker Megaways only. There is 10x bonus wagering, a 72-hour expiry and a maximum £25 redeemable win. Taking it makes you ineligible for other new-customer promotions.

The small print matters more than the £20 headline. Only restricted bonus funds count towards wagering. If a stake exceeds the restricted balance, the rest can come from your main cash balance, without that cash portion counting towards turnover. The promotion ends if the restricted balance drops below 10p; unused funds and bonus winnings are deleted if the deadline is missed. Check the balance before each stake and don’t add cash just to chase completion.

The UK banking page lists debit cards, Apple Pay, PayPal and bank transfer. Its table gives debit cards £5 deposit and withdrawal minimums. Visa Direct withdrawals are stated as four hours; other cards are usually one to three working days. PayPal has £10 minimums and a stated one-working-day withdrawal time. These funding figures do not change the fact that V26 needs no deposit.

William Hill Vegas resembles Betfair in product range: its navigation includes slots, live casino, roulette and blackjack alongside sports. Consider it only if the specific no-deposit terms appeal and you accept the low redeemable ceiling. If you want broader game choice for the bonus itself, one restricted slot isn’t a substitute.

PlayOJO — Best for welcome spins without bonus turnover, with payment caveats

PlayOJO homepage
PlayOJO homepage, October 2026

PlayOJO uses a different operator, Skill On Net Limited, UKGC account 39326. The Commission announced a £305,150 settlement in May 2023 over social-responsibility and anti-money-laundering failures. Its Trustpilot playojo.com profile showed 2.3/5 from 15,511 reviews, including complaints about document checks and withdrawal delays. Use the site’s secure document-upload route when asked, and keep a record of what was accepted before querying a repeated request.

The selected casino welcome gives eligible new players outside Northern Ireland 50 spins on Big Bass Bonanza at 10p each with a first deposit of at least £10. Its dedicated welcome and help pages say the selected spin winnings are paid as cash, with no wagering or maximum-win restriction. That is a different structure from BetVictor’s separate bonus balances. However, PlayOJO’s fair-play terms prohibit depositing purely to take the reward with no intention of playing or risking the deposited funds. No bonus turnover on the selected spins does not mean your deposit is protected from loss. Other reward types have separate conditions: the reward policy still lists PlayBooster play-through requirements, so check the specific reward before accepting it.

Check your Rewards section for the assigned game, spin value and deadline before funding the account. The help page describes a 24-hour expiry for free spins, while directing new customers to their reward details for the exact deadline. You can take only one welcome package, casino or bingo, not both. That choice matters if you are comparing its casino with its separate bingo product.

Its software page lists providers including Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Evolution and Play’n GO. For a Betfair casino reader, that gives a familiar mixture of slots and live games without a sportsbook-led homepage. Our PlayOJO alternatives comparison looks more closely at that reward structure if it is the main reason you are moving.

Payments need a slower read. The banking pages include debit cards, PayPal and bank transfer. The PayPal page contradicts itself: its FAQ says there is no withdrawal minimum, but its table and withdrawal instructions say £20. Ask support to confirm the minimum in writing before choosing PayPal. General terms also list a £10 wire-transfer fee, with no charge above £500; keep that in mind for a small balance rather than increasing a withdrawal or depositing more to avoid a fee.

PlayOJO says it aims to process withdrawals within a few hours, and its help page says 95% are processed within minutes. Those are operator claims about processing, not a guaranteed arrival time or an independent measurement. PlayOJO is worth considering for the selected welcome-spin winnings without wagering, provided you accept the deposit-risk policy and settle the payment conditions first.

How these alternatives compare with Betfair

Bonuses: compare the usable reward, not the biggest number

Betfair’s CASF51 offer is for new customers who have not previously played its casino. Register with CASF51, opt in and accept the offer in an eligible Jackpot King game to get 50 spins at 10p each. They expire seven days after award. All spins run automatically on the selected game, then it defaults to own-money gameplay. Stop before that transition if you don’t want to make a paid stake.

After using those initial spins, a second opt-in lets you deposit and spend at least £10 on eligible Jackpot King games for another 50 spins, again at 10p with seven days to use them. E-wallet deposits, including PayPal, do not qualify for that second stage. The dedicated CASF51 terms do not specify a wagering multiple for spin winnings; confirm the cash-conversion conditions shown in your account rather than treating silence as a promise of zero wagering.

Sky Vegas and Paddy Power expressly remove wagering from the selected spin winnings. PlayOJO does too, but its deposit-risk rule still applies. BetVictor instead combines cash spin winnings with restricted bonus pots; William Hill’s chosen reward is a restricted bonus with a small redeemable ceiling.

Here is the pound comparison. BetVictor’s own example is £10 bonus × 10 = £100 of qualifying wagering for one pot, with a £100 redemption cap. Using all three pots means £300 across their separate permitted game types. William Hill’s £20 × 10 is £200 of qualifying restricted-fund wagering, yet the maximum redeemable win remains £25. Neither number is a required fresh deposit or a predicted loss, and you may lose the bonus before finishing. Don’t add money to rescue a reward.

Games: familiar slots or a different casino emphasis?

Betfair’s casino has slots, card-and-table games and live casino, separate from its exchange. Paddy Power is the closest overall shape for someone using sports and casino together. Sky Vegas is a more focused choice for the familiar slots named in its promotion. BetVictor and William Hill retain a sports-and-casino combination but offer different reward restrictions.

For sites similar to Betfair on games rather than betting, PlayOJO is the clearer change of emphasis. Provider names are only a starting point: check the exact game and its displayed rules before opening an account. We aren’t claiming a new operator improves the odds on a slot. For another sports-and-casino comparison, our William Hill Vegas alternatives page offers a useful angle.

Payments: qualification and withdrawal are separate questions

Betfair’s help pages give eligible instant card withdrawals one to four hours and standard card withdrawals two to five working days. Its instant bank-transfer guide states a £5 minimum deposit. That £5 funding minimum is not the £10 required for CASF51’s second stage. A payment method available in the cashier is not necessarily eligible for that promotion.

The same distinction runs through the list. Sky’s welcome qualification is separate from its method-specific ordinary funding conditions. BetVictor reviews card requests before the quoted bank-arrival period starts. William Hill’s deposit minimum is irrelevant to a no-deposit reward. PlayOJO’s contradictory PayPal minimum needs resolving first. Compare the entire route from deposit to approved withdrawal, including checks and fees, not one headline about speed.

Betfair sister sites and shared ownership

Betfair is a Flutter brand. Betfair Casino Limited holds UKGC account 39435; its general terms name other PPB companies for different products. A five-digit UKGC account number identifies the business on the register, not an individual player’s account and not the long operating-licence number.

Paddy Power is a Betfair sister brand within Flutter. Sky Betting & Gaming, including Sky Vegas, is part of the same wider family. Betfair’s combined-business safer-gambling FAQ also names PokerStars and tombola. They are not all operated under the same UK licence. Parent ownership, the contracting company and the scope of self-exclusion are related questions, but they are not interchangeable.

Betfair’s terms say its self-exclusion applies to Betfair, Paddy Power, Sky Betting & Gaming brands, tombola and PokerStars for UK customers, alongside specified other group services. Don’t assume a different login means an exclusion has ended. If the scope or duration is unclear, ask the operator to confirm it; GAMSTOP covers participating UK online gambling operators beyond a single group.

BetVictor, William Hill and PlayOJO are different operators from Betfair, not Betfair sister sites. That gives three options for a reader whose reason for leaving is the company rather than the game selection. For a closer view of the shared-family option, see our Sky Vegas alternatives page.

Is Betfair legit, and why look elsewhere?

Betfair Casino Limited has an active UK remote casino licence on the Commission’s register. That establishes licensing; it doesn’t erase the 17 December 2025 Paddy Power Betfair settlement. The £2 million payment followed failures in identifying and responding to customers at risk of gambling harm. Decide your deposit limit without waiting for an intervention, and use self-exclusion rather than another site if gambling is causing harm.

Trustpilot’s www.betfair.com profile showed 3.3/5 from 4,652 reviews on 9 October 2026. Those reviews span betting and casino, with both positive support reports and account-restriction complaints. Casino Guru assigned 9.3/10 on its separate casino safety index. They measure different things; neither is a promise that your payment will be quick. Keep a written complaint trail if your issue is unresolved rather than trying to recover the money through further play.

Our header rating of 2.5/5 is an editorial assessment, not either external score. We give weight to active UK oversight and published payment guidance, but mark down the recent social-responsibility settlement, promotion restrictions and mixed customer-service reports. The practical case for casinos like Betfair is clearer reward terms or a different operator, not an assumption that another brand will produce fewer losses.

How we selected these Betfair alternatives

We checked the UK register entries, current casino pages, selected offer terms and payment guidance, then compared the games and ownership relationships. Trustpilot profiles informed the cautions, not predictions about returns. We have not deposited, played or tested withdrawals for this comparison. Quoted payment times are the operators’ statements.

We included two Flutter-family choices for familiarity and three different-operator choices for a genuine company change. Regulatory actions are disclosed rather than concealed behind a welcome offer. The offer described here is a selected promotion, not a promise that every visitor or existing customer qualifies.

Which Betfair alternative suits you?

For the nearest combined product: Paddy Power Games, if shared Flutter ownership isn’t the reason you are leaving. For familiar slots and explicit spin-winnings rules: Sky Vegas, if you are genuinely new to Sky Betting & Gaming. For table, live and game-show rewards: BetVictor, provided you want those separate categories rather than £30 of slots funds.

For a no-deposit option: William Hill Vegas, only if the single game, 72-hour deadline and £25 cap suit you; its customer-review record is a significant caution. For welcome spins without bonus turnover: PlayOJO, after clarifying its withdrawal minimum and accepting the deposit-risk rules.

If you are leaving because losses are becoming difficult, none of these sites like Betfair is the right next step. Contact GamCare or the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133, and use GAMSTOP for an online self-exclusion.

Frequently asked questions

Paddy Power Games is the closest combined sports-and-casino match; Sky Vegas suits the familiar slots named in its welcome. Both share the Flutter parent group. BetVictor, William Hill and PlayOJO use different operators, with different reward and payment restrictions.
